I think ichigo has yet to scratch the surface of his power levels. It just seems like it's taking him forever cause we've had so many fillers and he can't gain new powers in filler cause it's crap not based on the canon of manga.

How Zaraki and Byakuya blew him off? He fights with nothing more than brute force and luck. I doubt he's actually capable of seriously harming a captain.

Spoiler: Following the introduction of the Vizard we all thought wow!, Ichico must be really powerful just like them, however we now find that they aren't that powerful compared to the top Captains. I guess Soi Fon was right when she said to Yoruichi that time spent away from the front lines weakens you.

Ya I agree that the Vizard's treat it as a mere supplement to their move list, but I also think Ichigo's is a lot more developed than the rest of the Vizards, whereas they all have actual battle experience and greater control over their Shinigami's power. 2. I'm not surprised that Ichigo is considered to be ridiculously considering he has only gained Shinigami/Vizard powers for less than a year I think in manga time, so if he was stronger than a captain I think it would have been just stupid.

Ichigo now has the power he just needs a hundred or so years of experience to back it up. The Princess Tea Loli arc (Yes I know it's filler so shouldn't count) brought that home where he fought Soi Fon one of the weaker Captains in hand to hand combat and was just brushed aside. He did well against Kenpachi, but Kenny-chan was going easy on him (no kendo). Power is not a substitute for skill, here's hoping he can gain some, possibly through Hichi.

Ichigo is strong, his reiatsu is as strong as captain level, but Ichigo needs more development and more 'brain' when he fights, in every big fight Ichigo is almost death but he always survive. For example when he fought Zaraki, Byakuya, Grimmjow twice... Also Ichigo needs to develop some new attacks because I'm getting tired of Getsuga Tensho

Ichigo could learn a lot from the way Kira mixes things up, he would have to pick up some Kidou to do that though.

Ya Kira is wild.. I hope he pulls out something out of his sleeve... knowing him he will do some super mixture of Kidou
