 Well some1 said about a zanpakutou that reveals the truth.
Well thats hardly possible hence the differences between shikai and bankai is usually power increase (e.g Bayakuya's bankai = more blades from shikai ( aka quantity ) but through training and development he morphed his bankai into 2 more stages ( the anihilodoscope and the "white wings" thingy )) so to have a zanpakutou that reveals the truth means it cant really do anything else :S

Maybe a forbiddent kibou technick is more plausible that "shatters reality" or sth like that

my 2 cents anyways...

 I am interested in whether Ichi and Hichi are one being and does it count that if one sees Aizen's shikai both do. If they count as seperate beings perhaps Ichi could see the shikai causing hichi to take control and put the pain on Aizen.

The "Aizen has hypnosis abilities" just makes this a pain to predict anything. But I do agree that if everyone is worried about his Shikai, then it's gonna be epic when he busts out the bankai

 aizen's shikai is scary what about his bankai and what about when he puts his mask on (assuming he used the hoyuku) no way good guys r gona win ill be very pissed off if they do

Nizonizo99, I agree that the good guys individually ought to be overwhelmed by Aizen's power, but just look at how many people they have on their side. They outnumber the Baddies (TM) about four or more to one...!

 hey all, jst for arguements sake,
what if..

Aizen doesn't have a bankai? Assuming the whole time he was a captain, or from even before that, he's had everyone under his hypnosis. It was said that everyone thought his zanpakuto powers were of a water type. so he could have been granted the position of a captain using this fake power. Maybe he thought that his hypnosis power is that awesome that he doesn't need to learn its bankai. But then again, him being allpowerfull and so on, he would have achieved it.

Another thing is, to be able to fight on par with aizen, ichigo must not see his shikai, as mentioned. Therefore, the only way i can think of for that not to occur, is if Tousen surrounds everyone or just aizen and ichigo in his bankai, where all senses are useless, thus preventing aizen to control all the senses.
